Day # 4

Where this isn't something unique to me alone in the world, it is something I do a lot of. Part of why I clean is because it is deeply instilled in me by my mother, and because since becoming a mother I see the need for clean house.

Day #3

Where some of you may argue with me that the above statement isn't true. I haven't lived in a home with a piano for over 6 years, and my beloved beautiful cello isn't pulled out much. So I am a lover with regrets and hopes for the future :D

Day #2

Come June we will have been married for four happy years.

This is definitely a big part of who I am today.

My Identity Project Day #1

This is project I planned to do over a year ago and never got around to. Recently another past classmate of mine started something similar, and our ward talent show was coming up so I figured why not. So in the last two weeks photographed this project. Each day for the next two weeks I will post one of the images until it is done. Hope you enjoy!

There are so many ways we identify ourselves throughout our lives. In high school my life revolved around music, in college my life revolved around photography. Shortly after I graduated from college I became a mother and was blessed to be stay at home with my son. However the sudden changes in my life left me wondering who I had become. It has taken me almost two years to begin to feel grounded and identified again. Here is my photographic exploration of my new identity.

Spring Time Blossoms

Don't you just love spring? The sun comes up earlier, grass starts to green, buds break out into blossoms....it snows? Haha, well here in Utah it does. At least it doesn't stick around a long time. Here's an image I took yesterday compared with two I took this morning. Funny isn't it :D

Final Show

I was so fortunate to photograph my friend Katie's final show opening. It's still up in gallery 303. Go check it out. It is a beautiful visual representation of who she is as a person and artist. Love it!

Anstead/Christensen Wedding
