Babies!!!

Look I'm still around! And still shooting, granted not as much as I used to, but having three kids will do that to your schedule. :D And that is fine with me. Two of my good friends have had babies in the last two months, and I had the opportunity to photograph them. I got to photograph the handsome boy this morning, and the gorgeous girl a few weeks ago. I just thought I'd share because they were darling kiddos. Congrats to both my friends and their beautiful new additions. 

Blue eyed girl!

  Can you believe this little girl's blue eyes!? They are so incredible. My own kids have some gorgeous dark brown, and don't get me wrong I love them, but this little girls eyes are so beautiful! I was so lucky to do her 1 year pictures a few weeks ago when all the blossoms were still blooming. Sorry it's taken me so long to get some sneak peeks up, but things take a lot longer now. Enjoy!

Baby Hamaker

These are so long overdue in needing to be posted. This little beauty is growing up so fast. I was so glad that her wonderful momma asked me to shoot them. We shot these almost a month ago when it was much warmer, and she slept like a champ through the whole thing. Enjoy!

Baby Finn

I'm so stoked about how these turned out. This little guy was only two weeks when we shot these, but his awesome faux-hawk and quick smile makes him looks so much older. I love his parents, and I'm so excited for this super cute addition to their family. Enjoy!

Kelsey and Kassidy

I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph my first set of twins today. What a fabulous challenge! It was difficult to get them both asleep at the same time, but man was it worth it. Aren't they just so adorable!

Sweet Baby Charlotte

I got to photograph this little beauty just this morning. Her mom is one of my good friends. Her arrival was long awaited. There is something so special about looking deep into the eyes of a newborn. My in-laws say you can feel their spirits. I think they communicate with their eyes. I'm so grateful I had the opportunity to capture that look. I'm sure she has so much to tell us, of where she has come from. So much we can learn from a baby ;D Enjoy!

Choices

As a photographer I always go through the images I shoot, and do a first edit. Meaning that I go through and eliminate specific ones to show my client. Ones that ended up out of focus, someone is blinking, etc. Then I go through and pick my favorites, and eliminate more in my mind images that I don't think are that good. Then I let the client pick which ones they want. Half the time they pick some of the ones I think aren't my best work. This is an image that I ruled out, but Mom wanted. I have to say after working on it, it really has become one of my favorites. Sometimes Mom's do know best :D

We spent part of our New Year's day with our friends Jeff, and Sara who we haven't seen since their wedding. Now we both have kids. I got to shoot Adam's 7 month pix for them. He is such a darling with very intense beautiful blue eyes. Enjoy!
