Lone Tomato

This sad little green tomato was left out in the torrential down pour that happened this afternoon at our corner of the world. I just love the rain! Anyway, stay tuned for more beautiful images. I'll be posting a wedding soon :D

Drying Mint

I had to dig up a ton of mint yesterday that was overtaking our window wells. Since it wasn't just a weed I couldn't just throw it away. I know have a ton of mint drying, but here's some of what I got out of it photographically :D

I have really started enjoying our morning walks. This is what I got the other day.

Morning Walks

James and I have started going on morning walks early before anyone else is awake. It's been really nice to get out in the quiet of the morning as the sun is rising and explore our new neighborhood. Here's some of what I've shot in the last week on our walks. Enjoy :D

Spring Rain

It rained today. I've been meaning to photograph the blossoms for an ode to Spring, and just never gotten around to it. And surprisingly the blossoms are already disappearing. Today it rained and gave me an opportunity to get out, and photograph in the middle of the day. So here is my ode to Spring which is in full strength and on its way out.







I feel like dandelions hold their own, and deserve to be noticed. I also think it amusing that such a blue house has a lawn so nicely full of dandelions.

Took this the other day while we were waiting for our car to be finished in the shop.

Random things

So we saw this window on Saturday when we were coming home from grocery shopping. But on Saturday the effect was different because it is an all white house and all the other windows have white blinds, and there was snow all over the yard so this one green window stuck out like crazy, and I thought it was so awesome. I went back today and I took these. Not the same as I saw it on Saturday but still cool.


This tree I've been meaning to shoot for two weeks. I see it everyday on my way to work. I find it fascinating that in the "dead" of winter part of the tree is still alive. I can only assume this is because it is right next to the house receiving warmth. None the less I like its spirit.

One A Day... more like one a month :D

So the I finally made it out photographing for myself. I actually did a job on Saturday and I will post those soon I promise, but this was a needed mental release from the drudge of the day to day. I had to edit them quick during the baby's nap, so I tried something simple but different. I kind of like it.

Small Moment of Creativity

I know it has been forever since I've posted. With a new baby at home it is taking some time to adjust, but I felt like I needed to post something. I'm going to try to work my way back up to being in the one a day club. Enjoy this little summer moment.
