Maternity Photos

So for all of you who don't know, this is the reason my work has drastically slowed down. We'll see if it can pick up again when I'm juggling two kids, but don't hesitate to ask me if you have photo needs. I'm always willing photograph. It was interesting to be in front of the camera again. It's been awhile. My sister, whose learning photography collaborated with me on these. It was fun, and I look forward to the new addition to our family in six short weeks. Enjoy!

Sorry I'm not very good at posting lately. Getting ready for baby number #2 is taking up a lot of my time. I was lucky enough to get out and photograph this morning before anyone woke up. It was really nice. I love early morning light.

Yesterday was my 25th birthday and it was a beautiful day. I love having a spring birthday cause the world always looks like this :D

Final Day_Day #12

As I wrap up this series I have to take a minute to say that this is one of the most important things about myself that defines who I am. I say this because it's true. Knowing this fact effects everything else I do. I am a child of God and he loves me, so much so that He sent his Son to die for me. As you enjoy your Easter Holiday remember the reason for the season. Jesus Christ died for us so that we might live again. That fact should drive the things we do, how we act to others, and give us so much hope for the future.

Day #11

Sorry for the short absence. The last few days have been crazy, and well it drags this out since this is the second to last one I have to post. This is one of the best things I have ever done, being a mom. I love my son, and I love my future second son and he isn't even born yet. Being a mom has been challenging, and hectic and surprisingly sometimes boring (but not often.) I think this image best represents the stage of motherhood I am in right now because though my son is adorable he never sits still, especially for pictures (he used to.) And even though we are almost always on the move I love it. Yay for motherhood!

Day # 10

This is one of the great joys of my life. Photography fulfills me, and my innate need to create. It is true that if you look through all the photographs I've ever taken a lot of them end up being flowers, so I felt that this was an appropriate image as it is one of the first I've taken this spring.

Day #9

This is one of my favorite things about being a stay-at-home mom. I have time (at least most mornings, with one child) to make a yummy breakfast. Breakfast is no longer grab what I can as I run to class, or skip it entirely. Breakfast is not always leisurely with an almost two year old, but it is almost always yummy :D
