Day #11

Sorry for the short absence. The last few days have been crazy, and well it drags this out since this is the second to last one I have to post. This is one of the best things I have ever done, being a mom. I love my son, and I love my future second son and he isn't even born yet. Being a mom has been challenging, and hectic and surprisingly sometimes boring (but not often.) I think this image best represents the stage of motherhood I am in right now because though my son is adorable he never sits still, especially for pictures (he used to.) And even though we are almost always on the move I love it. Yay for motherhood!

Day # 10

This is one of the great joys of my life. Photography fulfills me, and my innate need to create. It is true that if you look through all the photographs I've ever taken a lot of them end up being flowers, so I felt that this was an appropriate image as it is one of the first I've taken this spring.

Day #9

This is one of my favorite things about being a stay-at-home mom. I have time (at least most mornings, with one child) to make a yummy breakfast. Breakfast is no longer grab what I can as I run to class, or skip it entirely. Breakfast is not always leisurely with an almost two year old, but it is almost always yummy :D

Day #8

Haha! Ok Mom I didn't realize this one was today. We were just talking about this last night. It is true I am a lister. I list and list and list. If something isn't written down it doesn't get done. By the end of the week I like my lists to look like one big scribbling pad as I've marked things off. It somehow fulfills me to know I got something done.

Day #7

I have multiple cookbooks and a few fall back standards but for the most part my cooking is done on the fly. I rarely have all the ingredients called for, I'm always substituting something or doing without and yet my meals turn out edible. (I'll leave it up to my hubby to say how good they are.) I also tend to find my recipes online based on what I have in the house. Someday perhaps I will take the time to plan ahead but for now this is part of who I am.

Day #6

Amateur is the best word for it. Sorry for the typo above, I didn't realize that until just now. I am not a speller I am a writer. I am sure others would scoff at that. Anyway, I write for the love of it. Someday I would love to be published, but I know how much work that takes so for now I write for the fun of it, and will someday when my priorities change work harder at it.

Day # 5

This is the truth. I am a sister of sisters. No brothers. Personally I love it, and wouldn't have it any other way. We are all super unique, and I love all my sisters like crazy. Sadly for years I have had to be a long distance sister. Who knows if that will ever change.
